Music is my 'obsession'!

Ellie Jaggers

For me, teaching is a passion; I live and breathe it. Born and raised in Bedfordshire, I have been an active member of the local music scene for most of my life.  I am both a teacher and an active musician, performing with a wide variety of ensembles and bands.  I have an MA in Composition for Film and Television from University of Kingston Upon Thames and a BA(Hons) in Music from Durham University.  I also have a Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Islington Music Workshop.

I set up my first teaching practice in Southampton in 2002, whilst working for Art Asia - a South Asian Arts Organisation, teaching both Violin and Piano.  Following a move back to the county in 2004, I have taught for Bedfordshire Music and, subsequently ‘Inspiring Music’ in a variety of roles and I have championed the teaching of Keyboard as an instrument in its own right.  Since my return, I’ve provided students in Bedfordshire, of all ages and abilities, with extensive private teaching services in a number of different fields.

I take pride in teaching people who are eager to expand their minds, talents, and skills, and bring a depth of professional expertise to those who strive to excel. I offer personalised, holistic, instrumental lessons at affordable prices and also provide bespoke classes in composition and music theory for those wanting to explore their creative side in music.

I also provide individually tailored services to schools, from accompanying at school performances, providing one off assemblies on special occasions, or creating bespoke workshops on any theme a school requires.
